Do I NEED a Psychic?
The answer to this question is no. You don’t need me.
I probably don’t need my accountant either. I chose to use an accountant because it is much easier for me to hand my books over to a professional. I have no desire to study for years so that I can do it myself. I have no interest in looking at numbers and doing tax returns and all that comes with bookwork for hours on end. It’s just not my thing.
I like to have a person that I can rely on, that is an expert in their field, that has taken the time to learn and continues to do so all the time, and that can help me.
Do I myself need a psychic? Not normally. However, before my Aunt passed away I’d call her occasionally to get a second opinion on something. Usually it was if I saw something for myself that was a little unclear, or more likely if I was just too close to the situation to be unbiased.
Many of my clients, and many of you reading this are intuitive, and just want a second opinion before moving ahead with something. Not everyone has the desire to study for years on how to listen to their intuition or their Higher Self. Life gets in the way, and developing intuition just might not be your thing.
So do you NEED me? No. Can I help? Yes. I am here to help with something if you don’t have time to meditate on it, or when you need a second opinion. Or if being intuitive just isn’t on your list of things to do.
When Your Day Seems Out of Balance
When your day seems out of balance
And, so many things go wrong.
When people fight around you
and the clock drags on so long…
When most folks act like children,
and fill you with remorse,
Go out into your pasture.
Wrap your arms around your horse.
His gentle breath enfolds you,
And he watches with those eyes
He may not have a PhD,
But he is, oh so wise!
His head rests on your shoulder.
You embrace him good and tight;
He puts your world in balance,
And makes it seem all right.
Your tears will soon stop flowing,
The tension will be eased.
The nonsense has been lifted,
You are quiet and at peace.
So when you need some balance
From the stresses in your day..
The best therapy you can seek..
Is out there eating hay!

My Favourite U-Tube Video of the Month
I thought this one was pretty good, someone emailed it to me so I thought I’d share it with you.
A palindrome reads the same backwards as forward. This video reads the opposite backwards as forward. Not only does it read the opposite, the meaning is the exact opposite.
This is only a 1 minute, 44 second video and it is brilliant. Make sure you read as well as listen…forward and backward.
This is a video that was submitted in a contest by a 20-year old. The contest was titled “u @ 50″ by AARP and it won second place. When they showed it, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause. So simple and yet so brilliant.
Take a minute and watch it.
Fear, Anger and Frustration
Sometimes in your quest to be “Spiritual” you may forget that you are a human being, with other feelings. There is this quest to feel joy and love all the time. As much as this is something that feels good once we get there, do not forget that there are other feelings and they do count for something too.
Anger, Fear and Frustration all have a role to play for you. They are not always just ‘bad’ feelings that you need to get rid of. They often can and do serve as warnings of things in our surroundings that are not good for us.
If you feel any of these lower vibrating feelings, rather than just trying to push them down or hide them, or tell yourself you shouldn’t be feeling that way, why don’t you go into the feeling and see where it is coming from?
When you have a feeling and try to push it down it doesn’t work. It stays with you. It squashes your intuition. Oftentimes if you feel fear it could save your life. If you are angry, it could be a warning that someone is in your space, if you are frustrated you may need to find a new way of doing things.
We need balance people! Yes, it is good to be connected to Source energy and all that is. However, we need to stay grounded. We live in a 3D world. We need to be aware of our surroundings. If we continually deny the 3D reality we risk not paying attention to what’s going on around us. Our ‘human world’ does need attention. You cannot have balance in your life without acknowledging 3D reality and walking though it in a grounded state.
Next time you find yourself feeling any of these feelings, go into it deeper for a few minutes. Sit down, meditate, clear out all the mind clutter and feel where the emotion is coming from. If it is just coming from your mind and your thoughts, then change your thoughts. But if you find that there really is a reason to be angry, frustrated, or fearful, then you need to take an action. Whether it be to change something, physically move to something or away from something, or to just release thoughts that aren’t serving your highest and best good anymore.
If you do not acknowledge these feelings (of fear, anger, frustration, etc.,) you cannot transmute this energy to a positive state where you can make a choice to act.
What is Normal?
Simple Answer: There is no normal anymore.
Over the past couple of years ~ actually more like 10 years ~ things keep changing on me. I don’t know how many times I have thought “once things get back to normal”. Well, I came to the conclusion a while ago that there is no such thing as ‘normal’ in my life.
Whether its having people stay with me, or getting sick and not being able to work very much, or my husband breaking his leg ~ there simply is no such thing as normal. The only constant thing in my life since the year 2000, is that things keep changing. Every time I think there might be a bit of a routine, something changes. Whether its my house being ‘normally clean’, or ‘I normally do (fill in the blank)”, it doesn’t matter. There might be a lot of things I used to do on a regular basis, there’s things I would like to do according to a certain schedule ~ but it just doesn’t work like that anymore.
Every time I think there might be a bit of a routine, something happens, and I need to re-vamp my whole outlook on what I am doing and when I am doing it.
I am sharing this because there’s an awful lot of people out there going through the same thing. Waiting until…..things get back to normal. Well, here’s a newsflash, chances are that they won’t. The world is changing. The energy of the planet and all her people has changed…we cannot live in a vacuum. We need to constantly grow, and change, and adjust. Without doing so, we won’t flourish. We will stay `stuck’ in all our old behaviours and ways of thinking. That will create a ‘hell on earth’. Time to move, and to experience life on earth, as it is in the heavens.
So, if you are one of those people that is waiting until thing get back to normal, don’t bother. Deal with what you have right now, and go with the flow, and let whatever it is you are going through right this minute be your new normal. Change, growth, liberation…its all good!
