The Healing Power of Gratitude ~ Meditation

Gratitude is very important in our lives, the more we practice gratitude for what is, the better we feel.  The better we feel, the better things we create and attract.  This meditation is good for physical, mental, and emotional healing.

Its been a while since I’ve shared a new guided meditation (there are so many that are my “favourites”) that I thought it would be timely to share one with you now.

This one is from Ellaeenah JadeFire.  I am sure I have shared some of her meditations at some point before, I find they work fairly well.

Why is it important for you to clear your energy?

We all pick up on the energy of other people, places or things.  If you are reading this you are likely more sensitive than a lot of people.  You are all intuitive.  You walk into a place and can feel if it feels “nice”, or “homey” or “dense” and like you want to get out of there.  That is your intuition.  It is you feeling the energy.

Some of you feel this energy more than others, some of you are outright empaths, some of you pay attention to these energies, and some of you walk around completely unaware that you are ‘wearing’ the energy of other people.

It can be compared to a campfire.  When you sit around a campfire you end up smelling like a campfire.  You might put your clothes in the laundry hamper, and then a couple of days later you open the hamper and it smells like campfire.  If you left the clothes for a month or a year they would still smell like campfire.  You need to wash your clothes in order to get the smell of the campfire off.

Most of us shower every day (or every couple of days), and we wash off our hair and our skin.  If we didn’t the dirt and sweat would keep on piling up.  It wouldn’t just go away on its own, it needs to be cleaned off.

Just like the smell of smoke from sitting around the campfire, the feeling of energy can stay with you for a long time unless you make a conscious effort to clean it off.

Sometimes doing some energy work, meditations, or clearing your energy can completely change your mood, energy levels, or sometimes your entire life situations.

This is a list of some of my favourite guided meditations to clear this energy.  I suggest you do at least one of them daily to help clean your energy and improve your life.

Meditation to Heal from Negative Energy – I especially use this one if I have been around someone who is really angry or negative or venting in my direction.  It clears you and your whole house (or workspace, or any other place that you focus on).

Guided Meditation/Visualization for Cutting Energy Cords – I use this one if I feel like someone has stuck an energy cord in me.  This can happen if there are ever negative feelings, going either from them to you or you to them.  Energy cords can also attach if you care just a bit too much about someone else’s ‘stuff’.  This works well to cut cords to past relationships, and to your parents.  Love energy stays, just what is no longer serving you goes.

Clearing and Shielding With Archangel Michael – this one is good too.  Very quick, easy and effective.  Helps to put up your shield of protection as well.

Dragon Sun Grounding Mediation – this is another quick and easy one you can do.  For those of you who find there is drama at work, this is a good one to do when you get home.  It is generally very good for simply grounding your energy as well.

Meditation: Clearing The Past From The Emotional & Mental Bodies

I looked up this meditation for myself last night and gave it a listen and I liked it so I’m sharing it with you.  We cleared out all summer long, and the energy of September is helping us clear out even more now.  Mercury being retrograde also brings up things (people) from our past at times and this can bring to our attention things that we thought we were “over” but aren’t.

For some of us its like we had a dirty bucket full of water.  We have thrown out all the murky water over the last three years and now we are scrubbing out the bottom of the bucket.  The good news is, its almost clean of anything that is holding us back.

Anyway, this meditation from Ellaeenah JadeFire just might assist with some residual energy that might be ready to go.

Its okay if you want to turn it on before bed and you end up falling asleep to it, it will still help.

Could it really be “On Earth as it is In Heaven”

I had something really interesting come up in my meditation today and I wanted to share it with you.  I was actually meditating in the truck on the way to a soccer game this morning (my husband was driving).

Our world is changing, we know that.  Many people online are talking about this “Wave X” that is supposed to be hitting our planet later this month, and many people are talking about the looming stock market crash (which I warned about last year), and the wars etc.

Many people are saying that a lot of negative stuff is going to happen.  All I have to say about that is maybe yes, maybe no.  In most of our personal lives things have changed a lot over the past few years and some of it has felt very negative as we’ve gone through a process of changing and letting go.  I think for most of us though, we can see how that discomfort brought us to where we are now.  So, I ask; was it negative?  Or was it just a process of change so that new could show up?

So, I digress.  I was going to tell you about my meditation.  Here it is:

When I meditate, I first ground my energy into Mother Earth.  I put very deep roots in and sometimes focus there for quite a few minutes.  I also open my crown chakra up wide and connect with Source Energy.  I bring the energy of the earth and the energy of source together into my heart chakra and my aura and extend my aura outwards, allowing the Earth and Source and Love energy to permeate my physical body, and my energy bodies, and all that is around me.

Well today, as I was allowing Source Energy to flow into me, a kind of vortex opened up.  I had opened my crown chakra wide and as I saw the light from myself to Source, it was as if the light was going up and up and up into the heavens.  It was very dark and dense from my view on earth and was dark for quite a ways up (imagine heavy cloud cover on a rainy day like it was here today).  The light beam went up past the darkness and it was light above.

That is where the Vortex was.  The vortex was like a funnel, or like how sand goes through the middle of an hourglass, or how water goes down a drain.  It was like the light energy was coming and coming and coming from above and into me.

I actually got a little bit nervous, wondering if my human form could handle all that light energy.  I was afraid I might explode or turn to dust, or leave my human body or something.  So I asked Jesus (Jesus is my go-to guy when I get freaked out about stuff, has been ever since I was a kid).  And he told me that the light was meant to go through me, not just into me.  I was to let the light go through and right down into the earth.

I was shown picture at this point of Source energy coming through humans and into the earth and filling her up with love and light.  It was as if the whole earth had been darker and denser, and as the source light went deep into the earth, the earth was beginning to heal.  In the picture I could see the earth getting lighter, and then I was shown how the light would come up from the earth and get higher and higher, until it reached the clouds and light would again be on our planet.  The phrase  “On earth as it is in Heaven”, came to mind.

I asked (because I am curious that way), if everyone on the planet was getting this light coming through them like this to heal the earth.  I was told about 7 million people, not all, but that 7 million was more than enough to bring the light back to our planet.

I also got the sense that as my body was being used for this conduit of light, that there were a lot of aspects of my own body and energy that were also being very infused with light and healed.  Anything that had been ‘left over’ after all the clearing work I have done myself over the years could just be healed instantly.

This was a super cool experience and I wanted to share it with you in case you are feeling a little ‘different’ than normal.  I know I have been sharing a lot over the past month about your senses and intuitive gifts being intensified.  I suspect that this infusion of light running through us may have something to do with that.

Keep in mind, that as our world goes through this, as much as you need to connect to source, also please ground your energy deep into the earth and allow for the healing of yourself and the planet.

I have so many video’s I want to share with you, I sometimes don’t even know where to start.  Today I’m sharing one from Cosmic Consciousness.  I like how this one helps me feel in the mornings after I do it.

The Art of Relaxing ~ How to Relax Your Mind, Body and Soul

Yesterday I wrote a blog post about our need to take it easy and relax this weekend.  I heard from a few of you that you have a really hard time just letting go and allowing yourself to relax.  You get so wound up in your head and your thoughts that you cannot even take a day or a few hours and truly enjoy the moment and just be.

This post is for those of you who would like to get better at the “Art of Relaxing“.

7 Top Ways (to Learn) to Relax

1.  Live in your NOW moment.  Whenever you cannot get out of your head and allow yourself to just let go, you are living in a different time.  Of course there are times when you have things to do, but I’m not talking about that.  I am talking about times when you wish you could relax but you can’t.  All of the things you are worrying about are generally either in the past or in the future.  Your first step to being able to relax is to be here now.  If you are thinking of things you have to do later and you are afraid you will forget, simply write them down, they will still be there for you to do tomorrow.  It serves no purpose whatsoever to be thinking of them today.  Stay in your Now and observe what IS.

2.  Write a gratitude list.  Get some white paper, and using blue ink, start to write down all the things you are grateful for in your life.  If you do not have the ability to relax it is likely related to things you are worried about in some form.  If you start to write down all that you are grateful for, you will change your vibration, and it will help you forget about your worries and be more able to focus on your present moment.

3.  Write a list (or letter) of forgiveness to yourself.  As your thoughts are spinning, if you find they are going more into the past and “should’ve could’ve would’ve“, it might be a really good time to forgive yourself.  You cannot change your past, however, by forgiving yourself, you will enable yourself to release any old dense energy, and start creating better things in the future.

4.  Meditate.  Even if you haven’t mastered meditating on your own, you can listen to audios from others’ that will help to take you to somewhat of an altered state (whether it be relaxing, or sleeping).  If you look to the right on this page, you will see a list of categories.  Click the “Video” category and pick a meditation that you feel drawn to.

5.  Release the Energy Cords from people in your life that taught you relaxing was a bad thing.  This often comes from a parent that was always busy (whether they actually ever got anything noteworthy done or not).  Try this Etheric Cord Cutting meditation, and release cords from anyone you have been influenced by that is unable to relax themselves.  (Cutting these cords can be a first step to changing your belief systems as far as whether or not relaxing is good for you ~ which it is).

6.  Ground your energy.  When you get all scattered and your thoughts are going off in all different directions, and your energy cannot focus anywhere, you are ungrounded.  You can do some work on your Root Chakra to ground your energy, or read this post on Centering, Grounding and Protecting your energy, and give it a try yourself.

7.  All of the above are very much ego based thoughts/feelings.  Our ego does play a role in our life, but if you can go to your heart space and hold your focus there, you will feel so much calmer.  You can try this Fastest Stress Buster Ever, and I guarantee it will work for you.
