Over the past few years a lot of you have been working on letting things go. A lot of you haven’t. There are so many who are hanging on tightly to what they have always known. Those of you who are doing this are getting more and more uncomfortable. It seems like no matter what you do, things aren’t working out.

As we come up to 11/11/11, those of you that are Spiritually ready for movement, but not yet willing to give things up on your own, are having things ripped away from you, and this is very uncomfortable indeed.

You cannot hang onto the past much longer. Our governments are in trouble (middle east is a good example), our financial systems are in a HUGE transition, our power sources, etc., the list goes on. There is not much that is not changing right now.

In the long run things will be better. Yes, there is a discomfort that comes with change, that is to be expected. However, the longer you try to hold onto the old, the more uncomfortable things need to get.

The list of things people are hanging onto is as endless as the global changes, relationships, friendships, jobs, houses, spouses, cities, animals, habits ~ you name it, you want to keep it: at all costs. Unfortunately, it is costing you dearly.

It is for this reason that I have my horse up for sale. Do I want to sell him? Not really, he’s a good friend, provides me a lot of enjoyment, and he is happy and secure where he is. I have been told from my peeps in no uncertain terms though that he needs to move on to another home. I don’t know exactly when, or where he will go, but I have put out the willingness to find him another home. I don’t want it to come down to crunch time and be forced to re-home him just anywhere, to a home where he might not be well taken care of, or worse yet, wind up as dog food. Is it hard? You bet. Does it sometimes make me cry? Yes. Will I feel a huge loss when he is gone? Most certainly.

BUT. And this is a big BUT. If I decided to not listen to what I know, to hang onto him for as long as possible, to work my darndest to make it work, what would be likely to happen? I would be forced into some sort of a situation, whether it be financial, health, having to change cities….something…. that would help me move on from him. I would rather avoid the heartbreaking discomfort, and just live with some sadness for a while until the next thing in my life presents itself.

So many of you are in the same boat. Some with animals, like me, but more of you with people or jobs. Just hanging on and hanging on. How uncomfortable does your life need to get before you let go?

Even Garth Brooks wrote a song about it. “Unanswered Prayers”. Whenever we let go of something, something else takes its place. EVERY TIME. Think back to other times in your life that you thought you just couldn’t live without something … you are reading this, therefore, you are still here. You did live though it. And more likely than not, you have had some good times in the meantime.

It is impossible for the old and new to co-exist. One needs to go. In order for your life to feel like it is flowing, and moving forward, you must let go. What is meant to stay with you will stay.

The seed of the new cannot take hold and grow if it is surrounded by the shell of the old.

I often write and talk about us creating our own reality. I know beyond any doubt that we are here to have an experience, and that we are creating it. Some parts we create before we get here, some after we have arrived.

This can be compared to booking a vacation. Before your vacation, you decide where it is you want to go, who it is you are going with, where you will stay and what you will do while you are there. You plan your vacation.

Once you get to your destination, you can then decide whether or not to stick to your itinerary. Your choices of what to do while you are there become more clear. Sometimes you realize that you can do way more than you first thought you could, so you change your mind and decide to have a different experience than was planned. You have different information than you did while you were at home, so you make different choices. You may meet someone who has lived there for a long time and talk to them. They may tell you some things about where you are, and where you are planning to go. You may like that information and take it and continue on your journey. You may be horrified to hear about the place you are heading and decide to go somewhere else or do something else instead. Basically, the choice is up to you.

Some of you, while on your vacation, will say, “I can’t change that!! I’ve already paid for it, or planned it, or its already in the works and it can’t be stopped”. Or some will say its simply too much of a hassle to make the change, may as well do it, even if it won’t be as enjoyable as I first thought.

Life is like that too. If you believe that you can’t change it, or that it can’t be stopped, it can’t. You have made that your reality by stating it. If you think its too much of a hassle to change it, you will be stuck doing something that you likely won’t enjoy much, simply because you can’t be bothered to make the effort to change it.

We are Souls having a human experience. We chose the life we wanted to come into, our parents, people we wanted to meet, our country, our city. For whatever reason, our Soul wanted to have certain experiences. Now that you are here you can change your mind if you want to.

Stop thinking that “oh, this is just meant to be”. It doesn’t have to be like that. Change your mind, change your experience, change your life.

Please focus on peace and send love to Egypt and her people. We are all one and the people of Egypt are our people, they are us, just living life in a different place on earth. I often write about Love vs. Fear and now is the perfect time to focus on love. The more love we can send to that area of the world, the more likely things are to work out in a positive way.

Right now in Egypt, people are standing together. It is a peaceful protest. The people of Egypt are starving and have not had a voice. They are finding their voices now. Even the military is backing off and just keeping watch in a peaceful way. The soldiers are watching their friends and families protest, they do not wish to harm them. The officers and higher ups are rich and get their money and power from the president, but they don’t dare ask the soldiers at this point to kill their loved ones. They are not sure that their authority would not be challenged if they did that.

If the people end up trying to storm the president and remove him by force the military (which has historically been known as the “King-Maker” in Egypt), will likely take over. Its ‘funny’ one of the reasons why there is not enough money in Egypt is because the military consumes most of the finances in order for the country’s leaders to have a lot of expensive military ‘toys’.

The police are off the streets now, and there is less conflict. The people just want their voices heard, and Hosni Mubarak removed from office.

On the news we hear about the “Economic Consequences” if this happens. “Mubakrk is a friend of the United States and of Israel”.

The White House, the entire United States, Canada, Israel and many other countries are IN FEAR. Our leaders are fearful and what they are saying is helping to spread fear all over the globe.

It is up to US, those of us who know better. Those of us who KNOW that by feeling love, projecting love and spreading love, anything can change, anything can be overcome. Please stay in your heart centre, send love to Egypt and her people and our world leaders.

Do not be led into the fear of the unknown. The leaders are afraid of the unknown – let them be. We must know and feel that change needs to happen, and we must allow things to change, but through love not through fear.

The leaders are worried that Islamic Militants will take over, or that whoever gets into power will close the Suez Canal….or worse, that the price of gas will rise! For the record, aside from the price of gas, the other couple things are very unlikely to happen…especially if we can send our love. With enough love energy, negative things CANNOT happen.

There is talk about the fact that the price of gas has gone up to over $100 per barrel, that tourism is taking a big hit, that the “bond rating” of the country has gone down, and that Egypt may even become bankrupt. Really, really??? The bond rating??? People are starving, and our leaders are worried about a Bond Rating??? Where have our priorities gone?

This is all pretty much a self-fulfilling prophecy for the United States and other Western countries because of the way the Bonding Agencies and the financial markets are operated. Things need to change. Our financial systems need to change. Maybe, just maybe, this will be one of many catalysts that will help with this.

We all know that things on our planet are changing (if you are reading this, you are likely to know these types of things, the people who do not know this already wouldn’t likely be reading this). I’ve been writing about this for years, as have many others – including the Hopi and Aztecs.

We are not all that different from Egypt. Listening to the news and hearing the announcers talk about the people not having food, or homes, or a decent wage with which to live ~~ this is NOW. And it is not just there ~ someplace else ~ far from our homes. It might not be quite as apparent but it is happening here in Canada, and in the United States and all over the globe. People cannot afford to eat, to have homes, to live in comfort.

WE ARE ONE, what affects one, affects ALL. I am so grateful for the people of Egypt ~ they have the courage to help make the world a better place.

Once they are successful at removing Mubarak, and they will be one way or the other (whether he goes now or just promises not to run in the next election), they will likely endure more hardship.

Egypt may wind up bankrupt, may wind up being a very poor country for a while. There may well be another revolt after this one. It could take a year, or more for things to get back to normal. However!! Thank God for these people!!!

I hear all the time that “things need to change”. I have written many times over the years how uncomfortable change can be. The people of Egypt, (and of Jordan and of Yemen and Tunisia before them), are stepping up, are willing to put everything on the line, their lives, their country, in order to facilitate change!!

Most of us in the West, no matter how uncomfortable our lives get, or how much we bitch and complain about the way things are, would not be willing to put so much on the line, to lose in order to gain. To do without in order to eventually have everyone do better.

So we need to pray, and send lots of LOVE and lots of THANKS to those people who have had enough, and are doing something to make their lives, and therefore the world a better place.

Thank you, people of Egypt…with Love

Tamara

That is so true. Often, we know that something is not good for us but we just can’t seem to let go of it. This applies to people, jobs, attitudes, past hurts, excess weight, the list is endless.

We do have ultimate control over our own lives, but sometimes our brain takes over and we repeat thoughts and feelings over and over in our head. We know we should be affirming something else for ourselves, we know that we should let go, but we just can’t seem to do it.

So, how do you begin to let go.

The first thing you need to do is recognize that there is a need to let something go. If there is anything in your life that is causing you pain, it needs to be let go of – life is not meant to be painful.

Secondly, you need to realize that it is not an easy thing to let go of something that has been in your life a long time. It becomes a part of who we are. There is no sense in engaging in negative self-talk. You are human after all and your habits become your reality. So, stop telling yourself you are stupid or weak for not being able to do it easily.

The third step involves just being willing to give something up. It doesn’t necessarily mean that right this second, you are going to give up something that you have been experiencing for a long time, but you need to be willing to give it up. If you have the same thoughts running through your head over and over again, just affirm that you are willing to try to think different things.

Which brings us to the fourth step. You don’t have to let go all at once. With some things, what happens is that if you try and do it all at one time, and you find yourself faltering, you tell yourself that you just aren’t good enough, or just can’t do it, and you give up.

The fifth step is to realize that it is okay to ask for help to move on. When you find that you are obsessing over something, ask for help. Whether it be through prayer or asking your guides, or God, Angels, Ascended Masters, or whoever you believe is there to help you. You don’t always have to start out with an action. You can start out with an intention. Just as your mind can keep you stuck with something in an endless loop, it can also be used to unstick you. Thoughts become things.

Once you have recognized the need to let go; accepted that you are ‘normal’ and ‘human’ and have stopped putting yourself down; and affirming that you are willing to give it up; start to slowly let go, one day, one step at a time; and learn to ask for help when you feel like you just can’t do it alone; you will be well on your way to letting go and moving on with the more enjoyable parts of your life.

I am not a doctor. This post is based on a combination of personal experience, messages I have gotten for clients that have, or think they have fibromyalga, and speaking with friends who have been diagnosed with fibromyalga.

It is amazing how many people are suffering from this. There are some things that over 90% of people with fibromyalga have in common:

Something major has changed in their life in the last two years

Career has become more stressful

They have started to live with someone or gotten married

They have had extreme financial difficulty

They have had an injury and have had to take time off

They have started taking a new prescription drug

If you have been diagnosed with fibromyalga, please take a look at what has been going on in your life. Most people say that it seemed to happen suddenly. The thing is, it takes time for your body to change once you change a habit.

Just as an example: You move in with your boyfriend. Your eating habits change, bit by bit, over time. You get busier. Take less time out for yourself at the gym because you are enjoying the company of your new mate. Over the course of a year or two, your habits become very different. Then one day, you get diagnosed.

Another example. You lose your job. You get a new job. Your new job isn’t exactly what you wanted, you are stressed out. You are not making as much money as you did before. You cannot afford to buy the best food, or you may just be too tired to cook. Maybe you eat out more or you eat more processed foods. You may not be able to afford as much fresh food, or organic food as you did before. You are tired, and flop after work, rather than going out to be with friends.

You have an injury or a surgery and are not as mobile as you were before. You have some down-time where you are unable to get out as much. You maybe put on a few pounds, or just don’t feel as energetic as you did before. After recouperating, you still don’t have as much energy and are not able to drag yourself to the gym, or out with friends.

Something has happened with your health. Whether it be hormones, blood pressure changes, or any other malady. Your doctor puts you on a pill. Sometime between about 6 months and 24 months later, you end up with fibromyalga.

This will not apply to 100% of you that have fibromyalga. And, once again, I am not a doctor. However, I have had clients with this disease where their guides have told me the cause of their illness, and in most cases, one of the above changes applies.

This is something I came across quite some time ago and feel the need to share. It explains a lot how things work with our economy and marketing and government and the ‘why’ of some things are in place in our world and our economy.

It is very enlightening and speaks to how marketing can get us to do things that don’t really make much sense. Not that we are ignorant, but companies and governments have a way of scaring us into doing things that we wouldn’t normally do otherwise.

It explains how our “systems” work and ways we can begin to change things. I have great faith in our world, and in those of us who inhabit Mother Earth. Knowledge is power, and you can change things, and you can make a difference one person at a time.

Both of these video’s look at the “Big Picture”, how things came to be the way they are, and how we can begin to make changes.

I think you will enjoy them.

This is a follow-up to my last post about Control, in which I wrote that we do have control over our own lives.

Something we do not ever have control over is someone else. A lot of times you may find yourself wondering why you are in a certain situation, thinking that “if I have control over my life, why are things turning out this way?”

Take a close look at what is going on and see if what you are going through is really a personal thing for or with you, or if it is related to someone or something else. What actions are you taking to get what you say you want? If you aren’t taking any actions, the universe and your higher self will take over to get you to where you would like to be. This might lead to a feeling of having no control, when really you do.

Let’s say you are trying very hard to manifest a good relationship. Well, these types of things take two. So, if your mind has chosen someone who cannot give you what you want, you need to change your mind: “Why am I not getting what I want if I have control?” Maybe you are. Maybe the only way to have the relationship you are dreaming of is to let go of the one you are in. You cannot control other people.

It often works like this for career too. If we want something else, but are really comfortable where we are, the chances of us making a change are pretty slim. Which means, the chances of us making changes in order to manifest our dreams are slim. Sometimes we think about what we want our career to look like without taking any action. That is when things can get uncomfortable, and we finally make a move.

This applies even in this “global recession”. We don’t have control over the ‘global’ part, but we have control over our own part. If it is affecting you, what have you changed? Have you adjusted yourself accordingly? You cannot necessarily make a job or money appear out of thin air, but you can create a job and money. It will take some work and (sometimes), a different way of thinking about things. You most certainly can take control and do things differently, expand your awareness and allow other experiences into your life.

Only you can answer these questions for yourself. But whenever you feel blocked and out of control of your life, wondering if this is ‘just how it is’, or ‘maybe I need to be learning something’ or whatever the thought is: take a close look and see exactly what it is that you would like to manifest differently in your life.

Take stock of what it is that you want. Where do you see yourself headed? What is it that you are trying to control? Is there something that you want in your life but it is not appearing? What changes do you need to make, consciously, before the new can show itself to you? Where are you holding back on making changes? Where can you make some moves and do things differently. These are all areas that you need to look at before you will realize how much control you really do have.

Simple Answer: There is no normal anymore.

Over the past couple of years ~ actually more like 10 years ~ things keep changing on me. I don’t know how many times I have thought “once things get back to normal”. Well, I came to the conclusion a while ago that there is no such thing as ‘normal’ in my life.

Whether its having people stay with me, or getting sick and not being able to work very much, or my husband breaking his leg ~ there simply is no such thing as normal. The only constant thing in my life since the year 2000, is that things keep changing. Every time I think there might be a bit of a routine, something changes. Whether its my house being ‘normally clean’, or ‘I normally do (fill in the blank)”, it doesn’t matter. There might be a lot of things I used to do on a regular basis, there’s things I would like to do according to a certain schedule ~ but it just doesn’t work like that anymore.

Every time I think there might be a bit of a routine, something happens, and I need to re-vamp my whole outlook on what I am doing and when I am doing it.

I am sharing this because there’s an awful lot of people out there going through the same thing. Waiting until…..things get back to normal. Well, here’s a newsflash, chances are that they won’t. The world is changing. The energy of the planet and all her people has changed…we cannot live in a vacuum. We need to constantly grow, and change, and adjust. Without doing so, we won’t flourish. We will stay `stuck’ in all our old behaviours and ways of thinking. That will create a ‘hell on earth’. Time to move, and to experience life on earth, as it is in the heavens.

So, if you are one of those people that is waiting until thing get back to normal, don’t bother. Deal with what you have right now, and go with the flow, and let whatever it is you are going through right this minute be your new normal. Change, growth, liberation…its all good!

Have you noticed the change in the energy?

Starting in 2009 things got a little weird, energies got strong, then things started to change. In September, it seemed to come to a head, as if everything left us, or was in the process of leaving us. It was as if everything that was old, or not serving our Highest and Best Good was leaving. The changes were massive. The energy was difficult at times. Some of you lost things from your life that had been around for a very long time. There were a lot of souls that went so far as to actually leave the earth, and the human life they were living. It was time to let go of a lot of the things that brought us to where we were at that time.

Following the release of the things, people, and energies that came early last fall, was a sense of emptiness. I spoke to so many people that felt lost and confused and just didn’t know what to do. It felt stagnant for a lot of people. So many felt like there wasn’t much point anymore. The things they used to think were fun didn’t have the allure that they had before. There was a general feeling of ‘why bother?’. Some felt like they had lost their passion for life and fun. Many just seemed to take a time-out from life and living.

In mid-January 2010, the energies started to change again. There was a sense of movement. If, in the fall, you had successfully let go of everything that was no longer serving you, you suddenly felt this month that maybe there was something to this life after all. For some of you, it is new people coming in to your life. So many of us are feeling the need to connect with like-minded others at this time. Those that had been spending a lot of time alone are suddenly drawn to join groups, or make friends, get out there and do something.

Its like all the plans that were put on hold for months are now coming to fruition. There is a need, a drive, to move. Some are welcoming new relationships into their lives, some are getting new and different job opportunities coming their way. There’s a big opportunity for change and movement at this time. What would you like in your life? Go for it. Sometimes change involves risk, but there is no better time than right now to take that leap, explore your options, spread your wings and take advantage of all the new things presenting to you.
