Sometimes I just don’t get anything.
Every so often, maybe once or twice a year, I have a client that for some reason, I can’t get correct information for. Sometimes its like I take a look and ‘nothing’. Other times, I feel like I might be connecting (and I am connecting to something), but it makes no sense to my client whatsoever.
It doesn’t happen very often and I almost never know why it happened, but I have learned to live with it. Generally if I have a client booked, I will sit and focus on their energy for a few minutes ahead of time and stuff starts flowing in.
Every time I meet with a client I start the talking part, I don’t want to have my mind engaged in someone’s life story before I allow information to flow. I sit and focus and feel. Then I will share what I am getting. Sometimes what I get is feelings, or a picture or words in my head, or a dead loved one pops in (or any other number of ways information comes in for me).
After I share the first feelings I look to my client to let me know if what I said makes sense to them, at least in some way. Most of the time it does. However, sometimes, I share what I get and the person just says, nope, makes no sense I don’t know what you are talking about.
We don’t always know why
At this point I will sometimes ‘look’ a little deeper, or see if there is any clarifying information that might help. When I do this deeper look, there is one of two things that I will ‘get’ or feelings, or words from my own peeps, whatever you want to call it; I either get clarifying information, or I get told, this won’t work.
I don’t get told why it won’t work, if I was going to be privy to that information, then I would likely be getting more for my client.
Thing is, I used to try. I would try and connect with/for someone. We would sit while I struggled to get information that was not going to be forthcoming in a helpful way anyway. (If it was, it would have already). I would try; my client was probably thinking “she sucks”, and then I would be so tired afterwards I would have to sleep for 4 hours.
So now, if I sit with someone and I share what I get and it makes no sense to them, I ask Spirit for more clarity and information. If that additional information makes no sense, I just ‘call it’. I say “I’m obviously not connecting, today is not the day”.
“Trying” to connect once it is clear to me via the energy I am getting is not correct, is useless. My client might get a little bit of helpful information, but after they leave, I would think to myself, “Wow, that was a lousy reading”.
My client would walk away thinking, “Wow, that was pretty expensive for the lousy reading I just got”.
Why couldn’t that Psychic Read Me?
So here is the thing. There are a million reasons why a psychic might not be connecting with you.
- There could be something a little ‘off’ with the psychic’s energy that day.
- Someone else’s energy is interfering (your friend, my friend, some other client of mine…etc.)
- There could be something a little ‘off’ with your energy that day.
- There could be too much fear or desperation energy coming from you.
- For some reason Spirit thinks the timing is bad.
- Maybe I refund your money and then two days later you find you need it desperately for something else (like a car repair), and end up being thankful that the reading didn’t work out and you now have that money to meet your other need.
See, it really can be a lot of different reasons, and I’ve only given you a list of 6 out of potentially millions.
Just know, that sometimes you are not meant to get a psychic reading from the person you are sitting across from. You can always try at a different time, with the same or a different psychic and if the timing is right then you will likely get a decent reading.
I have had clients come to me saying, “I’ve been to other psychics before and they couldn’t read me”. Just because one or two or three other people on one or two days couldn’t connect with you doesn’t make you ‘hard to read’. It means that on those days you were not meant to get a reading. Don’t talk your energy into being ‘hard to read’ because no one is really hard to read unless they are trying to hide things (either from themselves or others).
Psychic readings are energy, and you cannot push energy any more than you can push a river. It just flows (or it doesn’t).
Just know, that if you come to see me for a psychic reading, and its not flowing for me we will both know it in the first 5 minutes and I’m going to send you away rather than trying to make something happen that isn’t meant to happen.

Reading the first part of your ‘I can’t always do Psychic Readings ‘ … I don’t profess to someone like you but I have had many times that I have needed to talk to very close friends/colleagues i.e. boss folks 🙂 / etc. MOSTLY Health related for some reason …
I really don’t know where they come from but the vibes so to speak are always so STRONG that I NEED TO ACT ON THEM … and they have somehow always been … not only right but in a few cases more than just beneficial – but also healthy wise – … hmmm RIGHT ON and I have been so thankful that I followed my intuition or ??? whatever it wAS.
I know that this doesn’t seem to be something that I can see/absorb/vision for myself which is sad … but I do wish that pehaps there is a way that this could be accomplished ??? What do you think??
I know and believe that I have been able to help at least 2 VERY CLOSE friends IN THIS WAY … and a # of others in not so tough ways … just by being able to spend time ‘listening to them’ and understanding what they want to say … and that is OK … that is what is important .. for BOTH of us … It is the way to truly understand what each of us are saying…. or trying to share. At least this is how I feel …
WOW … uimmm I didn’t think that I would be able to share as much of myself with you – and yet I chose you as someone , like I have Chris Parr, to perhaps ask to share some of your abilities.
I know, deep down, that I have a lot to share and help … as I do m=with my close friebds and lately somehow many more … …

I think you can absolutely learn to see things for yourself as well. Keep in mind, that we usually see only what is for the Highest and Best good of all involved, and we are not always supposed to know everything.
That being said, I find that the majority of the time people who cannot get intuitive information for themselves simply don’t listen to it. It can be subtle at times and our minds get in the way. We get information for ourselves, and then think “that can’t be right” or “that doesn’t make sense, or is not what I want”, or something like that. Our subconscious belief systems sometimes kick in and negate what we just got. That effectively blocks further intuitive information from coming through.
A client can shut down my flow of energy immediately by blocking me in this way, and we can block ourselves this way too.
Being able to quiet the mind so that impressions can come through is also helpful. Meditation is very useful for this.
I would say a good first step is trying to release the ego mind and release ‘how you think it should be’, and get out of your own way and see how it goes.
I often get answers for myself if I ponder the issue/question at night. I will wake up in the morning, and while I am having my coffee things start to present to me.

This is something I have never heard a psychic admit but it does make sense that sometimes the timing is not right! I think it is so wonderful of you to share that information and to let your followers and readers know that it is not a fool proof technique but something that just flows! Thanks so much for sharing!
Yes, its a shame. We (psychics) are not “perfect”, and sometimes things just don’t come for one reason or another. Too many psychics try and make stuff up when they get nothing instead of admitting it. It can give others a bad name when a psychic makes stuff up. Hopefully those that are authentic will live in the light and do readings for the “highest and best good of all”, and start to leave it when nothing flows.
I wish someone could read me. My mother passed four years ago and about three psychic’s could not read me. I’ve been told in the past that they can not read me as I am psychic. Before my mother died, there were several wierd things that happened in my life. When i was working in a nursing home, I held the hands of a nice woman while she was dying…the next day in the morning in my car, I felt her and new that she had passed. Went to work and she had died. My father was being operated on in the hospital and someone hit my shoulder really hard…hard enough for me to turn around and yell “what”….no one there. My sister looked at me strange and said “stop it”. I’ve smelled my nana’s perfume and my papa’s cigars and new it was them. Since, my mother has passed, I do not get anything accept, I know when things are going to happen and always say…told you. I remember one time going to a very well know psychic named Alan. My friend went in and he read her just fine. Before I went in to see him, I went into the bathroom, made the sign of the cross and asked God for the psychic not to tell me anything bad about me or my family. When I finally sat down with Alan Wright, he looked down at the table and looked right at me and said that he couldn’t read me. I was terrified and instantly thought in my mind “oh my God, I’m going to die”, at that point he looked at me and said “you’re not going to die” and I asked why he couldn’t read me and he said “I don’t know….they won’t let me read you, I will not charge you”. So, if any true psychic reads this, they will make that determination that my statements are in fact truthful. How could i be so open and the next minute, not open at all. BTW this psychic that I did see was when I was around 21 and now I’m 49. My father had heart surgery around 5 years ago and that is when someone slammed me on the shoulder and my mother was still alive then. I have only had two dreams about my mother since she passed and one of the dreams she said ” your father has seven more solstices” in a very serious voice. That’s it…nothing else. I wanted to talk to my mother and ask her several questions about herself and me, but I haven’t been able to find anyone that can help me yet.

I do think that generally speaking most psychics can be read. One of the most common reasons that I have found (been told by my peeps), that psychics can’t be read is because they think they already know everything and they are not open to hearing anything that is different than what they already think. This makes it much like ‘pulling teeth’ to the reader and it tires them out, and so nothing bothers to come through.
The other biggest blocks that I have found are fear of what you might hear (that will block messages), desperation or grief, and thinking you cannot be read (law of attraction dictates that if you think you cannot be read for, you cannot be read for).

It was really good to read your blog. I had been living in desperation/fear for about 2 years and almost every relationship that I went in failed leading me to be more vulnerable and desperate. Now, that I try connecting to psychics – almost 80% of Top readers say that they can’t connect with me. I am guessing it is because my energy i send is full of fear.. I wanted to know how do I heal?
Hi Sonnit,
We need to start with a willingness to heal. Sometimes we put up barriers because we feel we need to protect ourselves. These barriers can actually keep us from healing. Try praying or affirming (whichever way you want to put it), “Help me be willing to heal”. No amount of affirming about healing will work if you cannot get the willingness first (I hope this makes sense to you).
I would also like to ask you, when you go to psychics are you asking them how you can heal, or are you asking them “when will I have a relationship”.
The type of question you ask or how you ask it has a lot to do with the answer you get. We are creating as we go along. If you are asking about when you will have a relationship, no psychic can answer that because you have not yet put yourself in an energetic position (vibration) to have one.
Can you heal? YES
Are you willing to heal? No, not yet, but you can be VERY QUICKLY if you allow for it.
